A note for people on someone's imdeadgirl list

This notice explains what 3BSI LLC ("imdeadgirl," "we") does with information about people a member adds to their list, letter recipients and people who report a death.
Why you're hearing from us
Someone who cares about you uses imdeadgirl, a service for planning their own funeral and writing letters to the people they love. They added you because they want you to:
- see their wishes after they pass (as one of "their people"); and/or
- receive a letter they wrote for you; and/or
- help confirm if something has happened to them, if we can't reach them.
They chose to include you. You don't need an account, and you don't need to do anything unless we ask.
What we may send you
- If they chose to tell you now: one email letting you know you're on their list.
- If we can't reach them for 3 days, or someone reports their death: a message asking whether they've passed. One "Yes" from someone on their list releases their information, so please answer only if you know.
- After a confirmed death: a link to their plan or your letter. You'll confirm your email with a one-time code before it opens. Access lasts one year.
- Reminders before their information is deleted.
What we know about you
Only what they gave us: your name, email address, possibly your US mobile number, how you know them, and which parts of their plan you're allowed to see. We also record your answers (for example, confirming a death) and when you view or download their information.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe: use the link in any email, or reply STOP to any text. If you opt out, we won't be able to ask you to confirm a death or send you their information.
- Privacy rights: depending on your state, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information. Email support@imdeadgirl.com. See our Privacy Policy.
- Something wrong? If you were added by mistake, or you think someone is misusing imdeadgirl, email support@imdeadgirl.com.
If you're reporting a death
Thank you, and we're sorry. Your report doesn't give anyone access to anything. It starts a 3-day check, where we try to reach the member first and then the people they chose. We collect your name, email, relationship and note to run that process and prevent abuse. Please report only in good faith.
